What the French Elections say about France

Published last week in between the first and second (run-off) election of departmental councils, I wrote this blogpost about what these elections can tell us about France and its future.

The run-off election led to a UMP (center-right) victory, leaving the far-right National Front without a majority on any council but with more seats than the ruling Socialist Party (third place).
